Want to break up with someone? Get back at an ex? Fire someone? Then Drop Dead Roses is for you. Shawn and Jason own a service where, for a fee, they'll deliver your bad news message with rotting dead roses or slightly abused chocolates. Things get become heated when Shawn has to make a delivery to Kayla, the girl he wants to date.
"Drop Dead Roses" is the first feature film of Dark Features,
produced by Danforth Studios. Production finished, July 12th 2001,
in our glorious city of Toronto! "Drop Dead Roses" was
in pre-production for over 3 years.
Drop Dead Roses stars Brian O’Halloran, (famed from Kevin Smith’s CLERKS I & II) and Eddie McGee, (winner of the reality show BIG BROTHER) and was directed and written by first time filmmaker
Jessica Hudson. The world premiere was November 17th, 2001 at the
Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto.
Drop Dead Roses, the first 24P, High Definition feature
film to be shot in Canada is not available for rental or purchase
in Canada. We are however are happy to announce that York Entertainment
has purchased Drop Dead Roses and it is available
for rental or purchase in the USA through York Entertainment, Hollywood Video
and Amazon.
